Introduction to Microsoft Excel
2 Weeks 14 May 2019 and 12 May2019
The Class is intended for students that have a working knowledge of Windows and understand the concept of Files and Folders and using Windows File Explorer.
Students should be conversant with the use of data Copy, Cut and Paste.
The Course will cover the basics of creating an Excel spreadsheet that holds columns and rows of data of differing formats. Also covered the basic presentation of displayed tabular data and the creation of simple Excel “formulas” that can automatically update and recalculate results.
A set of Class Notes will also be provided that cover the content of the Class.
The class will be taught by David Henderson who, though now retired, was an active member of the IT industry for close to 30 years. Since retirement David has continued to keep in touch with IT developments and has previously taught introductory Computer concepts at locations on the Sunshine Coast
