Cancellation of Classes – Covid-19

Covid-19 is a problem for us all but particularly for our elderly and health challenged members who are at greater risk. As the situation changes so must our response to it.

As from Monday 23 March, U3A noosa classes will be cancelled until further notice. Some tutors have already chosen to cancel and classes that continue to operate have drastically reduced numbers.

If you are unsure about classes this week, please ring Reception 5440 5500 or your tutor. If you have been overseas or have any cold or flu like symptoms, please refrain from attending.

U3A Network Qld has advised several U3As have already cancelled classes and the advice is to monitor and act according to specific needs. Because our activities are centralised we consider cancellation of classes to be a prudent response.

The Management Committee is continually updating our contingency plan and we will keep you posted with developments.  Our office and reception will remain open for any enquiries and indeed for any support our members may need.
