Zero Emissions Noosa is a community-led organisation aimed at achieving net-zero community emissions for Noosa Shire, by 2026.
Our purpose is to create a sustainable and resilient community, reduce carbon emissions, and promote renewable energy solutions. ZEN’s dual foci are transitioning to renewable energy (solar) and promoting sustainable transport, through community engagement, education and projects.
Our aim is demonstrate how the Noosa community can live in the Biosphere, while creating a model for other communities to follow, demonstrating that it is possible to achieve a zero-emissions future while enhancing quality of life.
