This class is intended for cryptic crossword enthusiasts who have done a beginners course or been solving them for some time, and who wish to pursue further challenges amongst like-minded people.

Participants will complete several cryptic crosswords of varying difficulty at home per week and then meet to discuss the clue types, their wordplay and solutions. It’s a learning and social experience for all.

About the Tutor:

Tony is a retired University lecturer and Associate with more than a passing interest in cryptic crosswords and would like to share the tricks and traps associated with cryptic crosswords that he has learnt.
