Course Outline:
Duration 6 lessons.
Wk. 1
Ideas, intro and discussion about choices and directions for beginners painting. Participants will learn how to mix from the colour wheel, to show depth and shape in painting.
Wk.2
Experiments in a variety of painterly techniques. Ideas and concept development.
Wk.3
Drawing techniques in preparation for painting. Planning ideas for a painting.
Wk.4
How to choose what to paint and produce a small painting.
Wk.5&6
Easy still life set up, culminating in a major piece of work on canvas board.
