John and Angela Le Mare were in Europe in January for the 46th Monte Carlo International Circus Festival. This was the fifteenth time they had attended the festival and it was the last time they will be going. Angela has made a film showing some of the highlights of the festival.
They are no longer living in Tewantin, having moved to Brisbane to be closer to their family. However, they are coming to Noosa U3A on Friday 17th May to show the film and are looking forward to catching up with their U3A friends in the Noosa-Tewantin area.
The festival maintained its usual high standard with some spectacular performances. It also paid homage to Prince Rainier who was born one hundred years ago in 1924.
